About
This was a contest held by “Caffè Pedrocchi”, an important bar of Padova – Italy.
It asked to the students of Scuola Italiana Design to design a special chocolate cup insipired by the mith of Casanova for the incoming Saint Valentine day during 2009.
I designed a cup with 2 silhouettes that does a little game at every time you take up the cup from the dish.
A game cup, a CoUPle GAME.
Casanova used to love seduct woman, but when he succed he lost interest in that woman, and start seducting another one.
So with this CUP if you take up the CUP (with the girl silhouette) you see a Casanova silhouette in the dish that is seducting the girl and want she back! But when the girl finally fall in love (and you take down the CUP over the dish) you see him that is turning right and don’t want she anymore (the cup hide part of the silhouette of Casanova).
